Annmarie (Ann) Zachariah

Again, welcome to my portfolio site! My name is Annmarie, but I prefer to go by Ann. I am currently a student at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia and I am currently studying to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. I’m an extroverted, creative mind looking for a workplace where I can pursue my passion for design and communications full-time.

I began my journey as an artist over 10 years ago when I was forced into art classes as a stubborn 8 year old. Little did I know at the time was that these art classes would soon transform who I was as a person and how I viewed the world around me. I will be forever grateful to my mother for insisting I pursue my budding talent, no matter how hesitant I was.

As I got older, I realized I had a real knack for this side of my skillset. I decided to declare my major as Graphic Design my sophomore year of college and never looked back. Now, I have been able to decorate myself with various projects ranging from print and web design to digital marketing and public relations pursuits. Throughout my time as a student, I’ve been able to hone my skillset in the classroom and in the workplace.

Being able to combine my passion for design and communications has been a life changing experience and has solidified my love for the field that I am in. I am so excited to explore new opportunities all over the country and the world. I hope that you can be apart of my experience as well.
