While working as a Design Fellow with VOX Global, one of the largest and most exciting projects I got to work on was Walmart’s 2020 Environmental, Social and Governance Report. As a member of the design team, I had the opportunity to collaborate with senior employees, from both VOX and Walmart, and see the project evolve from a concept pitch to a fully-designed, 140-page report.
During the preliminary phase of the project, I was able to contribute my thoughts on visualization by creating mood boards that portrayed potential design concepts and themes. Once the design phase started, my main tasks included turning ESG data into digestible infographics and data visuals, creating a new icon library that could be used throughout the document and providing quality checks during the drafting phase.
